Meet Fiongal Greenlaw, kickstarting the first of our monthly 'Wise Tales' series and the designer behind our T-Shirt collection launching in Summer 2021. He spends a little time with us to share his mission, thoughts and experience:
Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Fiongal Greenlaw, founder of The Wellness Foundry, a wellness brand focusing on intuitive and spiritual practices. I work as a professional Tarot reader, psychic artist and spiritual adviser.
What are you working on the most at the moment?
I’ve just launched my own range of spiritual incense, hand-rolled with intention. There’s also a Tarot deck and Tarot book in the pipeline.
How do you help your clients on a day-to-day basis?
There are two main prongs:
In my 1:1 sittings I work with the Tarot and my Spirit Guides to help others gain greater clarity in life, recognise overlooked opportunities and receive reassurance and acknowledgment in their life. This helps them release limiting thoughts and behaviours, gain greater self-discovery and empower them to take action and make the necessary decisions.
I also run several Intuitive Development courses, helping people connect with and develop their intuitive and spiritual selves. This is a likeminded community and safe space for people explore something for which it is sometimes difficult to know where to turn.
In your opinion, what’s the biggest challenge we face today as humanity and how can we overcome it?
Self-centredness. Too much time is spent developing the mind and not enough time is spent developing the heart. Cultivating gratitude, not only for what you have, but even the trials, tribulations and the people you might not understand, is one of the surest ways to guard your heart about this self-centredness.
What’s the best advice you’ve received?
Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it.
Something that Cher said her mum told her, “Don’t stress about anything that you won’t remember in 5 years”.
One thing from your bucket list you’d like to do as soon as possible?
Writing my book of fairytales.
